Baby Quilt

I can now share the baby quilt I made as it has been gifted.
I loved making this.
An awful lot of work with each letter and star being appliqued and then I also quilted around each.
A lot of love went into this and the final touches were done during the 40 hour labour while I was being kept up to date from my friend who is the now  a first time Grandma. She is to be known as Omee. SPECIAL!
I loved making it and looking forward to winter where I'll be inside more and have time to quilt.

  1. Wow...GREAT job Leanne - what a labour of love with all that applique! I love the bunny fabric you chose for the back of the quilt too, it's so cute along with the two photo bombers lol!

    1. Thanks Julie, the mum likes bunny's - we have a Spotlight here in Kapiti now and I was chuffed to find it in a brushed cotton. Nice n snuggly backing.
