Wurm (and a giveaway)

A blog I enjoy reading Pumpkin Sunrise - shared a hat she was knitting. In fact she has knitted it a few times. It took my eye as fits snuggly over the ears (I like my ears warm from the wind) and it is slouchy so with curly hair it hopefully will not flatten it too much on the daily walks.
I've used Quince & Co Chickadee wool. Scrummy colour aye!

I'm borrowing Abbey's needles KnitPro Zing which are yummy to knit with. They are circular needles so no seam whoop whoop. It's pretty awesome to have a daughter who is a knitting designer and has all the mod cons aye.

The knitting pattern is called Wurm by Katharina Nopp It is a free pattern. I sure wish Ravely had a Koha system as I know how much work goes into designing a pattern and I'd like to leave the designer a koha.

Ha! I just worked out how to show some love to the designer. I will giveaway to one person one paid pattern of their choice from Katharina Nopp's Ravely store.

To enter leave me a comment on the blog, or on tonight's facebook pages post.
I'll draw it next Thursday.

Oh if you are on Instagram I took a video of me playing with me hat... it reminds me of an accordion

Book....
On audio this week is Hanging Mary which is all about the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. I love history novels so looking forward to getting into the audio book.

Farm Stay Guests...

Gosh the bookings are flying in for guests to stay, I'm so thrilled that families like to bring their cats to me to look after. I am really lucky!
This is what happens when the cats are inside and I want to take photos for their family.

 They go outside.
BURMESE! and Mandalays! or should I say MandaBurms!

Ollie says - this is how you do it and smiles for his dads while snuggled in Abbey's arms.

Linking up to Yarn Along.
