Living and Loving the Journey
How sad for you - hugs from the north.
Rest well Mack, you have given your family so much pleasure. Good dog, job well done.
He was a good old fella, in my point of view more as he got older but as a young dog he was NAUGHTY! Love your comment Job well done.
Oh gosh Leanne, I am sooo sorry to read this. I enjoyed seeing dear Mack pop up on your blog from time to time. He was a very good age then ... my son lost his female mastiff at just under 9 years old. Just remember what a wonderful life he had with you all ... he will leave a big gap for quite sometime. Thinking of you all x x
Yes apparently mastiffs do not often live at all to 11.
I'm so very sorry for your loss. What a wonderful dog he was. I enjoyed reading about him over the years xxxxx
Oh tears in my eyes I felt like I knew the beautiful boy just from your blog posts about him. Take care.xxx
A few tears have been spent here, that is what happens I suppose when you love your pets aye
Sorry sad to read this news, enjoyed the Mack posts.... What heartbreak you all must be feeling. Hugs
Even tho we all knew he was old we still were not ready...
awww no. Big hugs to you guys. RIP Mack. I will miss you too. xxxx
Thanks for the call today I appreciate it xx
What a beautiful dog he was, and how great that he fell asleep peacefully at home with the family he loved. I am sorry for your loss.
It was a nice way to go
oh no...mack! he sure hung in there for a long time. i'm glad he died so peacefully. i wish the same for teddy.
He was a tad puffy in the morning I booked in a vet visit for Saturday, not overly worried as he has been sicker than that in the past. He was perky and couldn't (or wouldn't) hear me when walking around the section with me in the morning - very interested in the chickens and I am sure if one was out he would have tried to get it. He was happy wagging, well thumping his tail on the deck and lay down for his nap and that was it. Couldn't ask for a better way to go really.
Oh that is so lovely Just went off to sleep...
Yea good way to go aye, He had his last ride in the truck with the boys to the vets to be cremated, where Brent even put him in the body bag. He was well loved and looked after till the end.
Oh no! So sad to read this... so glad he went peacefully though. I know he will leave a gap in your lives but what a wonderful life he led with you all. I've enjoyed coming to know him on your blog.
Yea he was lucky to have Brent I don't think many other people would of handled him as well.... he sure caused trouble when he was younger.
So sorry to hear about Mac. It's hard to lose a good friend like him. But you can be consoled by remembering that he had a good long run and was lucky enough to live with good folks like you.
Yep a goodings for a dear old fella.
He had a great innings, and with love and care and family there all the time, a truly wonderful life. Peaceful, who can ask for more. A huge hole Leanne, I hope the memories and photos will help to heal.
Hi Jean, lovely to see you here, i've missed your comments, My computer time is so limited these days I'll have to pop into your blog. Seems really weird without him. We had quite the routine going me and Mack. for eg he had to get 3 biscuits in the morning and if I didn't her would bark until I gave him 3 - not 2.
I am so sorry for your loss of a faithful friend. He lived a good good life and was loved deeply!
Thanks Karen. It really is the hardest part of having pets.
I'm so sorry Leanne ((hugs)) Thank you for sharing Mack with us all, I feel like I knew him too *sniff* I'm sure he will leave a hole in your heart. Big hugs for Brent, James and Abbey as well. I'm thinking of you xo
Hi Leanne, I'm just catching up with your blog and I'm so sorry to read about Mack - I so enjoyed reading about his adventures over the years. Thinking of you all.
Thanks - lots of funny stories are being remembered he really was the naughtiest puppy we have ever had.
