Bush bath progress

The landscaping for the bush bath is completed. Just need a few more stepping stones and paint the bath base ..

Now we wait for the trees which all have white flowers to go along with the Moon Garden theme to grow so we get some privacy. Won't be long.....

Farm Stay Guests....

Leonardo and Bella were the Bush Bath supervisors.

Shiloh did wonder what was going on,,,

As for Amber and Symba (who do not get on at home hence I so enjoy getting photos of  them sitting together)
they were waiting for their mince and would not come outside for a photo.

 .
Symba does look a tad ticked off having to wait for his mince...And Amber sat gazing at it...

  3. WOW! An outdoor bath, soaking tub, has been on my dream list even since before we bought the farm and property. I never thought about it like this, I kind of didn't know where to start. I LOVE this idea. WOW! I don't know what else to say. I can't wait to see it finished. I do have a question, where do you drain it? Do you just hook a hose underneath and drain into the yard? My mind is racing at the possibilities, ha. .

    1. Yes it will drain into paddock or we might collect grey water for the gardens. Have you seen you can get double baths - that is what you need. Look through the photos on this website for inspiration http://www.canopycamping.co.nz/listings/ridge-top-farm-glamping/

  4. Golly, this is coming along nicely. What color will you use for the outside of the tub? Something bright I bet. And how long will it take the trees to get big enough so you can actually use the tub? Sounds like fun but don't you have mosquitoes to deal with at night? We do and they can be carriers of some not so nice diseases.
