Weekend of working on the trucks.

Brents mate Marty painted the cab for him in 2K gloss black. When you stand next to it, you can clearly see yourself..... Stunning.

Brent's friend has done an amazing job of painting the old pick up truck

The truck the boys imported from California USA... They finished painted this in the weekend,

The sun burnt and rusty roof and bonnet have been cleaned back to bare clean steel with phosphoric acid (They put this stuff in Cocoa Cola)

And repainted in a close mix to the original colours. Its been done in a reproduction Patina / Distressed look to match the rest of the truck.

Lots got done over the long weekend in the shed - progress is starting to take shape on the old trucks.

  1. Wow. Those are some cool trucks! My brother has a 1975 Ford pickup. . . that he's had since 1975! I think I'll have to show him this post. . . . . .
    Have a great week!
