Time to stop studying

can you see the NAUGHTY poodle putting her paws on the table as if to say come on stop sitting at that desk and lets go for our walk.

Raincoats on, off we went to check if there are any lambs - not yet.

Gasp Stella the pedigree poodle ran through the ponds (made by the heavy rains) with her coat and all on.

One imagines a poodle to be posh and all..

  But not this poodle.

Guess who got a bath!

  1. Stella in the water with a few ripples, great photo, and why not check the maternity ward with waiting mums?, Huge winds here overnight, too dark to see if any trees are down. Cheers,Jean

    1. Morning Jean. We were windy here last night but not surprisingly in Wellington during the evening. Hope no trees down for you - we are into our third month of waiting for the insurance company to fix our barn.

  2. Looks like Ms. Stella laughed all the way to the bath tub after her slogging through that deep rainwater. However did you get that great high above perspective with your camera. Looks like you were hoisted out over Stella with a harness to snap that photo. Those mama sheep are probably wishing their lambs would arrive sooner than later.

    1. we have two rain made ponds in the paddock and I snapped the shot walking up the bank to get to other paddock to see sheep. Stella was splashing down below - so total fluke photo angle.

    1. I still am not getting comment notifications so makes it very hard to respond by email. In too hard basket.

  8. I'm pretty sure poodles were originally hunting/sniffing/trailing type dogs and that going through water was all part of it -- I'll check with The Dog Expert.
