Cuteness

  Tup the ram saying hello.

Lambing only happens once a year but oh what a fun time of year it is. It's one of my favourite things seeing the lambs run about. The twins are strong, healthy little fellows.  WARNING more lambs photos will follow.

Farm Stay Guests.

Just way too cute for their own good and I get to smooch with them.

  2. The lambs are just too cute. Their mama looks very proud of her beautiful twins. What breed are your sheep? They have beautiful faces. Where I went to university, the veterinary school & agricultural majors had a large herd of sheep they care for. Every Spring lots of families would come to see all the lambs & the chance to see a lamb being born. I'm sure a lot of kids got their introduction to the birds & bees seeing those lambs being born.
Great photos of your kitty guests. How did you manage to get them to pose so nicely? Both cats have such thick luxurious coats of fur & I love the grey cats cute bubble cheeks with all those long white whiskers growing out of them. Just beautiful cats.

    1. The sheep are a Texel cross from our pure breed ram called Tex. Tup aka Tuppy is one of his off spring. The new ewes we got are cross breed texels as well from different lines so no inbreeding goes on. I did't inbreed with cats as I reakon you get healthier animals.

    1. oh we are - we keep walking over to bottom paddock to see them. I do miss my Molly goat as she would bring all the sheep and lambs up by the cattery every night to sleep.

    1. Thanks - I really want to learn how to use all the fancy functions on the camera - one day I will go take a class. I always wanted to be a photographer when I was in school and have fond memories of taking a photo class and using the dark room. - On the bucket list.
