Living and Loving the Journey
just wonderful! how i wish i could quilt!
I wish I had more time to quilt - this weekend I hop to machine quilt the one I am working on and then it will be finished yea.
lovely blocks, with different creams and whites for contrast, I can see many triangles with precise corners, the quilt?? this will be one for the new bed I guess. Cheers,Jean.
yes a new quilt in progress for the new bed
Love the jar of lady bugs and the cuppa tea! You are creative, Leanne! xo
i can't take the credit - our daughter Abbey is making these 6 inch blocks but she did raid my fabric for the lady bugs - not that I mind at all.
Looks fantastic. I have a quilt that I started but ran out if fabric. I did get some more but it haven't gone back yet. This might just get those jucies going and I'll go back and finish it lol
thats why I love scrappy quilts as I don't have to worry about running out of fabric. Just finished a non scrappy quilt for a gift - it confirms I love working with colour.
Is it just me...but your blocks have a lovely vintage look...love the fabric selection you've chosen.
I think it is the lighting - Abbey's fav designers are http://www.camilleroskelley.typepad.com/, http://www.figtreequilts.com/, but most of the fabric in this quilt is from http://www.rileyblakedesigns.com/ SWOON soo many yummy fabrics out there.
Thank you for the tea cup block, how cute! I have the jar pattern and some novelty fabrics that represent things you might keep in a jar. Have fun with them.
Glad you like it.
great finishes Abbey, the lady bugs fabric is cute!
