I feel some wagging coming on

I'm closing the books and taking the weekend off study

I'm going to enjoy picking up autumn leaves for my compost bin - and I might even throw some

Attack my herb garden with gusto

reweed the garden and even tho I said I wasn't going to plant a winter garden..
I'm going to as I've really missed being in my garden

Even the pea straw has got sick of waiting for me to mulch and started sprouting peas.

I'm looking forward to getting dirty from being in the garden

and I think I'll make owl eggs for breakfast.

with a bit of bacon branch

The owl egg do dar was purchased from Peter Alexander's

PST if you get a moment I'd really love to know what sort of things you want to read on the blog
what makes you visit the blog? It will give me something to think about while I potter in my garden today.

    1. I miss the sun - it's all wet, dark n gloomy over here lately I've me thermals, gumboots and woolly hat on and just now going into the garden. The rain has been perfect here for mulching - perfect to tuck up some of the winter garden.

  4. Nifty Owl do-da!!! Mulching, leaves galore here too, fire going every night, and your blog, I love it " Just the way it is"!! Cattery news, garden updates, sewing, quilting and knitting, studies, family life, and all else at your home,
Yesterday I looked at my first post to see what I had written and how many posts I had, and realise how boring and dull those earlier ones were, I didn't follow anyone, and had so much to learn. Part of having a blog is sharing with others, reading their daily news, seeing how lives in other parts of the world are so different to ours, sharing and caring between our " International Family" as Barb from Live and Learn calls us .So True, Would you change anything yourself? Cheers to all at your lovely home, Jean.

  7. Love the owl eggs.

Doug laughs at me kicking the autumn leaves up when we walk in the park. (Not in a nasty way I might add).

I always enjoy your blog whatever you write about.
