On Sky watch for Cyclone Lusi

Last nights sky was rather gorgeous.

It was rather wonderful being outside last night.

For Rose

 full moon nearly here.

But New Zealand is all watching the sky for Cyclone Lusi to arrive - it has hit the top of the North Island.this morning,.and  is due to hit us late evening  which we hope by then it has run out of puff. You can even track the cyclone here. .
We are up and off hoping to get a few more loads of wood undercover.

  1. Leanne, photo 2 in sepia with the vehicle in front edited out would look exactly like the 1940s.

    2. That looks great! We are currently watching the "All Creatures Great and Small" dvds and your sepia photo takes me right back there. If you people haven't seen them do take a look, I think all four of you will love them as much as we do.

  4. Gosh your sky was lovely, we just had grey skies last night. I think this storm has already run out of puff - it's been windy for us but not too bad (admittedly we are in a bit of a valley) and the rain minimal. It will be interesting to hear how it is when it reaches you!
