Living and Loving the Journey
out of 6 tomato plants I have just picked my 4th bucket of tomatoes and have been making relish.
whoop whoop that is a good haul. Our toms are just getting on their way to ripen.
okay....maybe this makes me want to be a bit warmer than the 8 degrees we are right now!
YES!!! I'll have you a sun lover before you know it. SMILE.
Everything looks so vibrant an lovely. What I wouldn't give to live where I could grow avocados in my back yard!
We are pretty thrilled with our ONE avocado we are growing smile. Sure wish we planted more fruit trees when we first moved here imagine the abundance we would be getting.
Congratulations on the avo! I must check our grapes to ensure they aren't disappearing. I need a few days rest from sweet corn - everyday is too often after 2 weeks or so.
The birds are pretty quick around here, and Brent blames me as I feed them... one would think their bellies would be full and leave the garden alone - nope! Sweet corn daily BLISS!
You are in New Zealand! I found you on Joyce's October Farm..and you are the first blogger I have met from there. I bought three cups and saucers from a couple who have a shop there..and it seemed far away. For some reason seeing you are from there.. :) made me feel better. Silly, I know..but it was just nice. (I keep spelling Zealand wrong so I must go back and change it on my post immediately!) Nice to meet you..and it seems we are having similar weather.Mona
HELLO Mona glad you found us - and if you are a friend of October Farm I just know we will hit it off. Isn't Joyce amazing! I'm off to meet you on your blog. Love Leanne
p.s. The equotes from folks like Tasha Tudor on your sidebar..were wonderful. Just wanted to add that..I had to stop and read them all.:)
Tasha Tudor was an amazing lady
Those garden veggies sure do look good!
they taste great too - nothing like fresh veges home grown picked from garden and straight on the plate.
