New Plymouth Day 2

A beautiful Sunday, 24 deg C and no wind.
We hope all in the Northern Hemisphere folks feel a tad warmed from the photos..

the best spot for surfing

doesn't that look soo much fun

 Stella made some new friends.

As the norm I filled my handbag with beach stones - I really need a beach bag me thinks.

Had a lovely chilled out day,

  2. Beautiful pictures. I agree the one from yesterday's post of the barns with the sun set (rise?) just coming through the trees up above is worthy of a painting.

It looks wonderfully warm there. We have a little respite coming up this week with predictions of high 50's F. Will feel positively tropical after all the below zero days we have had and the recurrent snowfalls.

  8. What a thrill to see 'my' mountain in your previous post, and the Taranaki coast in this one. I know it all so well, having grown up here.

    1. i have to own up - the photo of mountain is a painting that is stuck on car shed and that is the view outside kitchen window - such fun! I did take a photo of the mountain now and it has no snow but a beautiful puff of cloud around the top. I'd love to learn the culture history about the mountain, I really LOVE New Plymouth could live here that is for sure.
