Earthquake

A 6.2 earthquake happened yesterday afternoon, the aftershocks are still going - a rather sleepless night.

The poor cats in the cattery were watching us all standing outside. Their water bottles whooshed water everywhere but otherwise they are fine. Bad weather is reported for today so they will be tucked up inside cattery today.

I've had an email asking me to share more of my naturopath studies - so here's a photo of making up a Bach remedy.
I'm working on a massage unit at the moment - that is pushing me out of my comfort zone.

  1. I'm sure you have had a rather worrying night, yesterday was not good up here either, I was standing by the tall trees, and thought for some years I could not run fast. Believe me, when it happened, I ran. the cat ran, Hugh ran outside looking for me. Hope you had no big damage, several brick chimneys down at friends' places. Yesterday the air was so still, and no warning at all. Take care, keep that front door open. Greetings to all, Jean

  2. I heard about your earthquake yesterday Leanne, and can understand the sleepless night. We lived in California for many years and experienced several during our time there, from the rumble-rumble-rumble to the 'wave', to the coming down the stairs and hearing figurines crashing on the floor and kitchen cupboards slamming open and shut. A few sleepless nights back in those days. Since living here in Virginia we experienced one earthquake a couple of years ago and that was startling. So, wishing you a good night's sleep tonight :)

    1. We are in New Zealand which is further south than the country Australia. Some folks think we are part of Australia. Kiwi's get a tad protective and NO we are not Australia. SMILE.

    1. the cats were fine - watching us and as you do I was calling out your ok to the puddy tats. Once stopped went and sorted their water and gave them all a pat. The poodle was more stressed after it than any of us.

  8. Hope the earth settles and that all is well at your place. Bach flowers are such a great resource. What do you add to your bottles? Looks like boiled water? and gin/vodka?
