Cats at our place.

Lordy surveying his kingdom.

Lets crop that photo so you can get a close up of Lordy

Lordy - who is the dad to most of the cats that are guests of the Farm Stay

Laura -  doing her girly pose on the back of the bike. Laura is Minka's mum who is staying at the moment

Lets crop that photo for a close up of Laura. She's in pretty good nick for nearly 11 years old.
During her breeding career she had 15 litters and 98 kittens.

The blue sisters checking out the new bike.

Cinders - oops I cut her feet off.

Going walkabout

for some reason the cats like to gather around the lavender bush and have a good old sniff..
Maybe it's because it is one of Mack's morning stopping spots?

Farm Stay Guest.

Minka zoning out in pure bliss.

While she gets a toe massage.

Lining up to Saturday Critters.

    1. Thank you. we had amazing breeding lines - it really is all in the breeding and gene pool that gives them such wonderful glossy coats.

    1. Our ex breeding stock have set times out of the run (our dog Mack is not into cats) and our cats are not into birds...Plus we have a busy road so to protect all they have a chalet and run. They know the drill and walk around with us while we clean/feed them and then go back into their run. Laura sleeps with us we tried having more cats in at night but we got no sleep. Lordy is an ex stud and still sprays so he can't come into the house.

    1. Thanks, we enjoy them and very pleased that we can keep them all here in their time of retirement. (many stud cats get put down how awful is that something I did not know until I got into breeding)

    1. Laura is rather beautiful and my favourite. It was cold last night and she slept under the covers.

  8. Know I say it every time but Lordy, Lordy your Lordy is a handsome dude!
Our cats love the old foot massage too. Makes it easy to clip their claws.
Leanne can you tell me what camera you bought please. You take such super photos. I'm thinking perhaps I need to go a bit beyond my wee point and shoot.

    1. Oh I LOVE my camera. It is a point and shoot and I'm soo happy with it. Down side it doesn't take the best photos in doors, but honest that doesn';t worry me as I normally take photos outside of cats, flowers, garden, animals for the blog. It is a Canon PowerShot SX50

HIGHLY recommend. The zoom is fantastic imagine having a point and shoot camera that is able to get such detail of the moon.
