It's time for another giveaway

Today’s giveaway is from Otaki Hydroponics.

But first let me introduce Bobby Socks from Otaki Hydroponics. (Bobby is a rescue cat from the SPCA)
.
Bobby not only spends his time in the garden area but is also known to be an office worker too.

Otaki Hydroponics is my local supplier of  Kings Seeds.

I homed in on the potting bench that Ross makes. SWOON!

Now it's not very often that a girl gets to talk about her worm T..but Kay and I had a great chat about our worms wee and how much we dilute it to make a worm tea for the garden.
Kay was asking me what ratio I dilute mine to - ummm a very non scientific reply from me - " I just make it into a pi_sy cup of tea" - I.E. adding enough water to make it into a weak looking cuppa to put on my garden.

Yea all know how much I love my girls (aka worms) and the worm farm.
If you have been thinking of starting your own worm farm talk to Otaki Hydroponics they sell Hungry Bins and will even help you get started with some worms.

You can find Otaki Hydroponics at their website and on Facebook

Kay has given a litre of her Worm "T" Concentrate as a giveaway to Cottage Tails readers and is happy to  post this anywhere in New Zealand.

  3. Hi Leanne, I love this post ... I am especially drawn to cats & just love how they think they have to be everywhere "helping you". Bobbysocks is a very photogenic cat. I have used worm juice before as my friends little boy has a worm farm & I used to buy it from him for pocket money. But I found he was watering it down more & more til it was practically clear. I love the nice dark colour of the bottles you have pictured (someone told me it should be the colour of coca cola). That potting bench would be just perfect at my house lately ... I have made such a mess potting things on my deck area. Have a great weekend Leanne, Julie x0x

  5. Hello Leanne
I would absolutely love to get more worms working in my garden. My soil is very puggy at the moment after all the rain and cold - I despair!!!
What a wonderful staff member Bobby Socks is, at home both in the garden and the office - a great asset!
    Have a happy fun weekend
    hugs

PS I am following you as your blog pops up on my side bar - I thought it was by Friend Connect but couldn't see the icon her - maybe it's my tired eyes LOL!!

    1. Hi Shane
Hasn't the weather been very spring like - windy and wet - we have a pond in the bottom paddock from all the rain and I see our local Strawberries have been ruined from the rain.

ps I mucked up side bar when jazzed up blog - can't seem to get friend connect back - in too hard basket.
